Join us on an Alaskan Wildlife Adventure with photo opportunities to capture wolves, coyotes, wolverine, arctic and red fox, lynx, reindeer, porcupine, pine marten, mink, bald eagles, and others up close and personal. This trip will visit the Kroschel Wildlife Center and Chilkat River where hundreds of bald eagles congregate in the winter to feed on fall run salmon. The Kroschel Wildlife Center is embedded in the last great wilderness area on Earth, the 25-million-acre Glacier Bay-Tatshinshini-Kluane-Wrangell St. Elias UNESCO World Heritage Wilderness Preserve and is in the heart of the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, and framed by the Cathedral Peaks of teh Chilkat Mountains and the boundary peaks of Glacier Bay National Park.

Steve Kroschel, owner and operator of the Kroschel Wildlife Center, is also cinematographer and has trained and filmed animals for Disney's Academy Award Winning film "Never Cry Wolf", the Wild America series on PBS, several IMAX features, and other films. He will give our group 3 days of up close and personal opportunities to photograph native Alaskan wildlife in their natural habitat.

General Itinerary:
It is strongly suggested to arrive in Juneau on 11/12 and depart on 11/20 due to early departuers, late arrivals, and other variances in the ferry schedule
Day 1: Arrive Juneau and board ferry to Haines
Day 2: Photographing at the Kroschel Wildlife Center and surrounding area
Day 3: Photographing at the Kroschel Wildlife Center and surrounding area
Day 4: Photographing at the Kroschel Wildlife Center and surrounding area
Day 5: Photographing Bald Eagles along the Chilkat River
Day 5: Photographing Bald Eagles and scenery along the Chilkat River or optional trip to Skagway
Day 6: Depart Haines for Juneau
