This is a small group adventure trip for ADULTS only where you will join other travellers from around the world. This is not a coach/hotel tour and tailor-made itineraries or car hire are NOT available. Trip is exclusively operated by OzXposure.
Flexible Itineraries: The itinerary shown is intended as a guide only indicating a typical itinerary & series of activities. While our intention is to adhere to the published day by day route, the itinerary, distance traveled, type of accommodation and available activities may vary due to group input, weather, road conditions & local restrictions. Early or late season treks can be affected by extreme weather.
Tour Description:
Departing Perth we drive directly to Yanchep National Park where we have the opportunity to see koalas and other Australian native wildlife. We then head north to Cervantes, a small fishing village, stopping en route to a profusion of wildflowers (in season). After lunch we continue on to view the captivating, mysterious expanse of the Pinnacles with ample time to wander through the limestone spires located in Nambung National Park.
Leaving the Pinnacles we partly retrace our steps, stopping at Cataby roadhouse where there is time for a short break while your guide prepares your vehicle for the afternoon’s off road driving fun. In just a short time we are soon off the sealed roads and heading for the bumpy bush tracks and sand dunes around Lancelin for some 4WD fun. Keep watch for kangaroos, emus and wildflowers as we bounce down the track toward the majestic pure white Lancelin sand dunes. Out onto the dunes, a few heart stopping rides down steep sides of these huge sand ‘waves’ in our 4WD truck and its time for some sand surfing on our custom made sandboards (optional – no extra cost). Back into the vehicle we make our way off the dunes and into our last roadhouse stop for refreshments before our final drive back to the city. Our return to Perth takes us through coastal bush and farmland where we have one last chance to see kangaroo’s and emu’s in the wild. We normally arrive back in Perth between 6.30 and 7.00pm.
