Captivating Brazil

Day 1 - USA/Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel. (Luxor Copacabana Hotel / Rio International Hotel)

Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro
A morning tour visits Corcovado Mountain. A short train ride takes you through Tijuca Forest and to the base of giant Christ the Redeemer statue, where you have a panoramic view of the entire city and beaches. In the afternoon, drive past Copacabana and Ipanema, two of the world's most famous beaches. Take a cable car ride up Sugar Loaf Mountain. Return to hotel via Flamingo Park and downtown. Day 3 - Rio de Janeiro
A full day at leisure to explore the beaches and bars of this wonderful, vibrant city, famous for its sense of rhythm and fun. (B)

Day 4 - Rio de Janeiro/Iguazu
Transfer to the airport for flight to Iguazu Falls. In the afternoon enjoy Iguazu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to one of the world's largest and most impressive waterfalls, extending over some 2,700 meters. Day 5 - Iguazu

Finca San Antonio

"Finca San Antonio" is a 4 bedroom villa for the very discerning. The property is a beautiful woodland finca Situated within the "Montgo" National Park on the peninsular overlooking Javea Port. The finca has an excellent pool and although located in a rural environment it is only a few minutes drive to central Javea and the main Arenal beach!!

"Finca San Antonio" is a beautiful woodland finca located close to the sea and within the 2000 hectares Montgo National Park area of Javea. There are many woodland and clifftop walks which are clearly marked and trails straight from the door, even a mountain to climb, with spectacular views from the sumit. The winter climate is ideal while springtime is also very beautiful in this area with many species of wild flowers not to be found elsewhere.

The property is rented out by its owners from April until October as a 4 bedroom villa. During the October to March period, the owners are on site and they operate the property as bed & breakfast accommodation.

The villa sleeps up to 8 people including 2 double en suite bedrooms, one of which has a balcony leading to gardens and pool area. There is also one twin room using the family bathroom and a further double sofa bed in a seperate room with its own entrance and sharing a family bathroom. The villa also has a well equipped modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer plus two separate lounges - a summer lounge naya with sky TV, sofas etc and a smaller lounge which has a sofa bed and CD music player, with access to pool area. To complete the accommodation, there is a dining room and a family bathroom which also houses laundry area with washing machine and ironing facilities.

To the outside of the property there is the poolside open naya with gas barbecue. This area is often used for summer outside dining and entertaining. There is also a fabulous private swimming pool, sun loungers, large gardens with fruit trees and entertainment areas including the bedroom balcony.

The villa is available to rent from April 1st -September 30th but "The Hideaway" is also open for bed and breakfast bookings during the winter months. Guest doubles with en suites, good food. (Dinner if required at reasonable prices inc. wine.). There is also a huge Jacuzzi hot tub (Temp 38 degrees).(available for b&b only). This property is therefore an ideal base for walking, climbing, golfing, house hunting or just a lazy pampered winter break including a healthy breakfast and all for just 75 euros per room per night!!

Cortijo Loma Sala

Cortijo Loma Sala is a large four bedroom restored property in a secluded and tranquil location, just fifteen minutes drive from the coast. There are three large bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other two have twin beds and a further smaller bedroom which also has twin beds. All are fully equipped with comfortable beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers and each have large windows giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Also available for extra sleeping are two sofa beds, which open into doubles, plus two single roll out beds which can easily be accommodated in any of the bedrooms, terrace room or reception rooms.

There are two large bathrooms and one shower room, the bathrooms have over bath shower and bidet as well as wash basins and toilets. The shower room, with walk in shower, has washbasin and toilet.

All sleeping accommodation is separate from the reception rooms, which are one big sitting room and the other a very large open plan, kitchen, dining and sitting area. There is a large television with satellite channels and Spanish television channels. There is also a D.V.D. player and C.D. player, and a second television and D.V.D. player in one of the bedrooms. Guests wishing to connect their laptops to the internet can now take advantage of a recently installed broadband connection at no extra charge.

The kitchen is fully equipped with full size gas hob, electric oven, microwave, large double sink, large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Pure filtered drinking water is on tap. To make your holiday even easier a fully equipped laundry room is also at your disposal with a large American style washing machine and tumble dryer. Also included are supplies of dishwasher and washing powder, loo rolls and soap.

Maid service is available once a week to clean as well as change linen and towels.

For the chillier evenings in the winter months there is a wood burning stove with plenty of wood provided. The large south facing garden is extensively planted and has patio areas around the kidney shaped pool/Jacuzzi, barbecue and the house itself, plus plenty of garden furniture. A large roof terrace provides another opportunity for very private and sheltered sun bathing. To the north of the house there is a large landscaped area with plenty of room to park cars.
